Are you a twitter user? Well we have some exciting news for you, twitter just released an official tweet button that allows you to tweet anything you see on the web. We’ve added it onto our site, so you can tweet any foreclosures you see on the site to your heart’s delight. Just look for the following button on the site:

Today, we’re very excited to release the beginning of our Zillow integration! If you haven’t already heard, Zillow is a (from the website):

leading online real estate marketplace dedicated to helping homeowners, buyers, sellers, renters, real estate agents, mortgage professionals, landlords, and property managers find and share vital information about homes, real estate, and mortgages.

We’re starting to realize that we can become more than just an informational website, we want to do something useful and helpful with that information. We’re hoping that if you find a property on the MN Foreclosure Mapper site that you’d like to buy (to own and live in), we can help get you connected to the resources to make that happen.

When you view a property report now, you can see a new section dedicated to presenting data from Zillow, you’ll initially see the estimate (zestimate) and a link to view the listing on Zillow itself. Here’s a quick screenshot of what it looks like now:

This is just the beginning of what will be many, many updates in making the Foreclosure Mapper a valuable resource and tool for everyone to use. Enjoy!

You can now share foreclosures via email with anyone using our new share button! The button is located in the top right corner of almost every page, here’s a quick screenshot of what it looks like:

Did you know that you can get SMS alerts via twitter? Here’s how you do it:

• text follow mnforeclosedmap to 40404 in the United States and every time a foreclosure is posted, you should receive an text alerts on your phone

NOTE: standard messaging rates may apply.

You can now search by lenders! Simple click on the search button and then click on the tab that says “By Lender”. And just like anything other search results, you can export the data into a feed or an xml file.
